DOTR opens transport matters hotlines
THE Department of Transportation (DOTr) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) yesterday said it has opened several hotline numbers to assist the public with matters concerning transportation amid the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
For his part, DOTr EOC Head Eymard D. Eje thanked the telecommunications partners, on behalf of the DOTr Secretary, for providing the much-needed telephone lines.
The DOTr EOC announced that the hotline numbers are available for calls from Monday to Friday, 7a.m. to 7p.m., and during weekends, Saturday to Sunday from 8a.m. to 12noon. The cellular numbers are open for text messaging 24 hours a day.
