IT is not so often that an occasion calls for the gathering of the world’s ‘beauty and the best’ as we are only days away from the World Class Excellence Japan Awards-Philippines (WCEJA) 2018.
This year’s WCEJA will once again showcase some of the big ticket names across several industries, all coming together for a night of fun, dance, and philanthropy.
This event is made possible by Emma “Emcor” Cordero-Toba, founding Chairman of the WCEJA and Emcor Voice of an Angel Foundation—who was also crowned as the Woman of the Universe in Mrs. Universe 2016 in China.
Emcor has made it her advocacy to use her platform as a singer, recording star, beauty titlist and multi-award winning philanthropist to continue raising awareness for the education of underprivileged beneficiaries in her home country, the Philippines.
Through WCEJA, “we are recognizing outstanding professionals who have been remarkable in the exercise of their profession, as well as performing artists who have demonstrated exemplary contributions to level up their careers and the image of the industry,” Cordero said.
The WCEJA 2018 is going to be bigger and brighter, with the event to be graced by 300 guests, including awardees such as:
Ka Freddie Aguilar, the singer-songwriter behind the OPM classics, “Anak” and “Magdalena”; Ms. Imelda Papin, the voice behind the iconic jukebox hits “Isang Linggong Pag-Ibig” and “Bakit” together with her sister, outstanding international producer and performer Ms. Aileen Papin; and multi-award winning Filipino composer, producer and entrepreneur Mr. Vehnee Saturno.
World-class beauty will also take center-stage, with international beauties such as Madeleine Wallgren Vickery, recently crowned as “Mrs. Top of the World 2018 and Iana Lutska, hailed as Mrs. Ukraine International 2018.
Also in the event are some of this year's Japanese awardees, such as Takashi Murauchi, hailed as the "World Class Japanese Actor Model and Philnathropist 2018," and Takao Shimada, World Class Achiever Awardee and "Most Outstanding Entrepreneur/ Civic Leader and Philanthropist 2018."
The event will also recognize 2017’s King Voice of an Angel (VOAA) Universe, Mr. Florie Boy Macawile, who is also an outstanding public servant and philanthropist.
The awardees will be treated to a night of glitz and glamour as the WCEJA 2018’s Philippine awards night will be held at The Heritage Hotel on October 28, to be followed by the 5th WCEJA Japan Awards Night on November 18, Sunday, 7 o’ clock in the evening, at the Hakata New Otani Hotel, Fukuoka, Japan.
