The two got engaged in Vatican City in Rome, Italy bago nagtapos ang Love Month last February 27.  Almost seven years na ring magkasintahan sina Direk Antoinette at Direk Dan.

Sina  Antoinette at  Dan ay unang nagkakilala in 2011 sa gala night ng first directorial job ng una, ang “Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay”. But at that time ay pareho pa silang may ibang karelasyon.

But most of the directorial jobs ni Antoinette ay siya rin mismo ang sumulat tulad ng “Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay” in 2011, “That Thing Called Tadhana” in 2014, “Beauty In A Bottle” in 2014, “Love You To The Stars and Back” in 2016, “Never Not Love You” in 2018 at “Alone/Together” in 2019.

Bukod sa “English Only Please” at “Walang Forever,” si Direk Dan din ang director ng “The Breakup Playlist” in 2015, “Always Be My Maybe”  and “How to Be Yours  in 2016," “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin,””Luck at First Sight,” “Ilawod,” “Changing Partners” in 2017, “All of You,” “Hintayan sa Langit” at “Exes Baggage” in 2018.

The now engaged couple also co-directed the TV series “On The Wings of Love” and “Till I Met You” in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
