ANG Beautederm Coporation na yata ang may pinakamaraming brand ambassadors now numbering to 45 and counting. Ang pina-latest member nito ay ang 18-year-old young singing sensation na si Darren Espanto.
Darren was formally launched as Beautederm’s youngest member of the family making him the brand ambassador to the young generation. Ito’y ginanap sa ballroom ng Luxent Hotel in Quezon City and was formally welcomed and presented to the entertainment media by the company’s founder, president and CEO, Rhea Anicoche-Tan.
At the launch, Rhea, a good singer herself admitted that she’s a big fan of the young singer-actor and she just waited for the right time to get him as one of her company’s growing brand ambassadors.
“Another dream come true,” pahayag ng amiable and ever generous and super aggressive lady boss ng Beauterm.
“Since he joined “The Voice Kids Philippines” (Season 1) in 2014, alam ko na na malayo ang mararating ni Darren,” pag-amin ni Rhea.
True enough, it was an exciting four-year journey kay Darren sa kanyang singing (and acting) career since he placed second to Lyca Gairanod in “The Voice Kids Philippines”. Sina Lyca at Darren ay parehong nasa team ni Coach Sarah (Geronimo).
Hindi man si Darren ang naging grand winner sa “The Voice Kids Philippines,” siya naman ang namamayagpag ang career ngayon among his peers with a list of hit singles, platinum albums, sold-out concerts and shows at endorsements.
He was ten when he joined and won in the search for “Pinoy Singing Sensation” held in Edmonton, Canada. Sa kaparehong taon ay sumali rin siya sa ika-limang season ng TV reality show (in Canada) na “The Next Star” ng YTV where he landed at Top 6.
In 2014, he was accompanied by her mom, Marinel to audition sa unang season ng “The Voice Kids Philippines.”
After he landed second place sa TVKP, he was signed-up by Star Magic and MCA Music at dito na nagtuluy-tuloy ang magandang takbo ng kanyang singing career.
In May 2015, Darren mounted his first major solo concert at the MOA Arena, making him the youngest to perform in the said venue. Ang kanyang self-titled debut album na “Darren” reached the multi-platinum status and came up with his number one singles tulad ng “7 Minutes,” “Starlight,” “Parachute,” “In Love Ako sa `Yo,”
