Food Doses For People With Asthma

WE’RE all set to face the “new normal” under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) for 15 days and people, whether they have health conditions or don’t, should make adjustments and follow the safety protocols.

Wearing facemask is a must however. People with health conditions like asthma and those with Chronic Obstruction Pulmonary Disease (COPD) may encounter breathing difficulty with facemask on.

Inhalers may help relieve the condition. But health experts said the frequent use of inhaler is not good for the health. Probably because of chemical contents of inhalers.

Changing the diet is one of the primary keys to reduce asthma attack. Most of the comfort foods could trigger an attack.

Look for foods with high content of vitamin C and beta carotene. You can make carrot juice every day as a suggestion. Carrot juice is rich in vitamin C.

Celery is another healthy food. You should add a few stalks of celery in the daily diet, chlorophyll in green leaves of celery will help detoxify the liver and bowels.

Below is the recommended dose for people with asthma easier to regulate the amount of healthy food:

* Two green apples, six stalks of celery, a bunch of spinach, a bunch of parsley and ¼ lemon juice.

* ¼ pineapple, one fennel, eight stalks of kale, three pieces of radish and ½ lemon.

* ¼ pineapple, one cucumber, ½ pepper and ½ lemon juice.

* Two cups strawberry juice, one cup of cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, one cucumber, 1/2 lemon grass and ½ lemon.

Avoid eating:

* Eggs, milk and meat.

* Citrus fruits.

* Vegetable oils, because it can cause inflammation of the airways.

* Alcohol and fizzy drinks.
