IT is written that the true Gospel of Salvation will be preached to all nations and it did.
The Global Online Bible Seminar led by Rev. Ock Soo Park of Good News Mission (GNM) was participated by 800 million people from 94 countries, broadcasted by 209 broadcasting stations, relayed by 55 social networking service platforms and communicated in 26 different languages.
It was held from May 10-15, 2020 with two sessions everyday (9:30 a.m and 7:30 p.m., Korean Standard Time).
Amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, this six-day global bible seminar gave hope and happiness to the online listeners as Rev. Park shared about the good news of salvation and how to enter the heavenly kingdom through repentance that leads to forgiveness of sins and faith in what Jesus Christ did for humankind.
GNM, host of this bible seminar, officially translated the sermons in six main languages – English, Korean, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. Other local language translations were also provided for participating countries such as Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines and Thailand, in Asia; Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda, in Africa; Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, in Europe; El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and USA, in North America; Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru, in South America; and Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, and Tonga in Oceania and across different cities and towns in Australia.
Furthermore, both mainstream and social media were utilized to air and broadcast the said bible seminar where prominent broadcasting stations, both television and radio such as ABC, KBS, NBC, LATV, Telemundo, La Voz Evangelica and others made the bible seminar accessible not only to Christians but to non-Christians as well. Live streaming in social media platforms like Facebook and Youtube was also conducted.
In the Philippines, more than 245,000 joined in the global bible seminar through Facebook and broadcasting stations.
It was live streamed in Christian Leaders Fellowship Facebook Live and aired in ACTV, Radyo Natin, Pasyal Tayo, Channel Plus and PinoyXtreme from May 11th through 16th for both AM and PM session.
Not only that, but there were also persons deprived of liberty (PDL) from some jails nationwide who heard the word of God that moved them from despair to hope and happiness. Viewers expressed their joy as they exclaimed “Amen” and showed thankfulness. Note-worthy viewer comments include: "Wow... what an experience of choosing to call on to God in times of need and not to men.”
“There is no more striving! God will take charge of everything!” "Thank you for sharing the word of God to encourage us.” A good number also shared their salvation confirmation and said, “Amen po. Ako ay matuwid na. Salamat sa Dios! (I am righteous. Thank God!).
