Search for TAYO Awards Year 18: Celebrating bayanihan amidst COVID-19 pandemic

THE Search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Year 18 is exclusive for youth groups with quarantine and pandemic responses to highlight how despite the hardest of time, young Filipinos continue to make a difference.

The TAYO Awards Foundation launched its 18th Search for TAYO Awards last July 5, 2020 encouraging youth groups and organizations with various quarantine or pandemic responses to join and be recognized of their efforts to help fellow Filipinos at the time of crisis, social-distancing approved! Shifting most of the Search online to go beyond varying quarantine measures around the country, the Search is accessible from desktop to mobile. This exclusive bayanihan Search celebrates the value of citizenship and compassion that continues to spring forth among Filipinos. And to further fan the flame of servant leadership, to grow their existing projects or to build on a new program for a new normal, the 20 National Finalists will receive seed grants from Coca Cola Foundation and San Miguel Corporation.

From donation drives, to PPE provision, distance education, information management, and to bridging livelihood gaps, the Search welcomes youth initiatives from all over the country. Informal youth groups such as friends or hobbyists to formal groups like start-ups, social enterprises and NGOs can submit limitless number of entries until August 18, 2020.
