AT least 12 drug personalities, including three women, were arrested after authorities raided an alleged drug den being utilized by three brothers during a buy-bust operation Thursday evening in Pasay City.
Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) chief P/Capt. Deni Mari Pedrozo, who led the raid, caught some of the arrested suspects while having a pot session inside the alleged drug den at 2235 P. Burgos St. Bgy. 58 after they conducted a buy-bust operation against Jeremeh and Jervy Naraja, 27.
Earlier at around 5:30 p.m., an undercover cop was able to transact from the siblings P500 worth of shabu but when Jeremeh sensed that he was dealing with a police officer, he immediately ran towards their house prompting policemen, who were at the perimeter area, to chase him inside where they caught his brothers Jervy and Rey, Jr., 29, and 10 others but Jeremeh managed to elude arrest.
Pasay police chief P/Col. Ericson Dilag identified the arrested suspects as Paul Real, 42, Sandy Israel, 42, Alvin Cedilla, 39, Joey De Leon, 46, Jonathan Enriquez, 45, Marcelino Sambayon, 40, Angela Inserto, 41, Charisma Campana, 38, Mutya Barsal, 39 and the siblings cousin Dexter Naraja, 47. Police said the arrested suspects were all included in the police and barangay drug watch list.
Recovered from the arrested suspects were a total of 34 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 25 grams with standard drug price worth P170,000, several pieces of drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money.
