AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Tuesday night arrested two male African nationals and their Filipina cohort during an anti-narcotics operation in Makati City which led in the recovery of over P4 million worth of shabu, PDEA chair, Director General Aaron N. Aquino reported yesterday.
The official identified the suspects as 30-year old Nigerian national Ifeanyi Augustine Chinwueba; Antoine Negou Fotie,40, a citizen of Cameroon Republic and Jeneth Fotie,24. All three are residing in Mabalacat, Pampanga.
According to Aquino, the three were arrested by undercover officers of the PDEA National Capital Region headed by Director Joel B. Plaza during the sting in a gasoline station in northbound EDSA in Barangay Forbes Park, Makati City around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Seized from the suspects’ possession were five pieces of knot-tied plastic packs containing nearly 600 grams of the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ with an underground market value of P4.080 million, the marked money and mobile phones they used in making contact with the poseur.
