AUTHORITIES seized two unlicensed firearms during a raid in a house of an alleged toughie Tuesday afternoon in Navotas City.
Armed with the search warrant issued by Navotas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Pedro Dabu Jr. of Branch 286, policemen under the supervision of the city police chief Col. Rolando Balasabas raided the house of Randy Antonio at 22 M. Jose St. Bgy. Tangos North at around 1 p.m.
Col. Balasabas said an unlicensed caliber .45 pistol with magazine loaded with seven live ammunition and cal. 38 revolver with five bullets were found inside Antonio’s room during the raid which was witnessed by barangay officials.
Lt. Eric Roxas, commander of Malabon Police Community Precinct (PCP) 2 who led the raiding team said Antonio was not around when the raid was conducted.
Police said that prior to the issuance of search warrant, neighbors of Antonio who were terrorized by his frequent firing of his gun, appealed to authorities to conduct a raid on the suspect’s house since he allegedly owned assorted types of handguns.
