AROUND 21 suspected drug personalities were arrested in separate simultaneous anti-criminality and buy-bust operations Thursday night until yesterday dawn in Caloocan City.
Operatives of Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) led by Chief Insp. Regie Deimos conducted buy-bust operation at around 1 a.m. yesterday against Marick Salvador, 37, security guard, in front of his house at 382 Marulas A., Bgy. 36, that resulted in his arrest.
Police also arrested the guard’s cohorts identified as Louie Nickolsow, 46, Raymund Cajucom 41, and Antonio Valdez III, 38, and recovered from them three transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu while the buy-bust money was recovered from Salvador.
Also at around 1 a.m., operatives of Caloocan Police Community Precinct (PCP) 1 who were conducting anti-criminality operations along 2nd Avenue, BMBA Compound, Bgy. 120, arrested six drug personalities who were engaged in illegal gambling “cara y cruz” allegedly using shabu as bet money.
Police identified the suspects as Michael Joseph Villanueva, 19, Imelda Abao, 36, Mary Rose Deocalcel, 37, Romualdo Ana, 50, Mary Grace Chica, 39, and Kurt Angelo Pajarillo, 22.
Villanueva, when frisked, yielded a plastic sachet of shabu while several drug paraphernalia, unsealed plastic sachets with traces of shabu were recovered from the area. A tube pipe with traces of marijuana was recovered from Pajarillo.
Earlier at 11:20 p.m. Thursday, elements of Station Special Operations Unit (SSOU) of Caloocan police led by Senior Insp. Rammel Ebarle, while conducting anti-criminality campaign along 1038 Street, Bgy. 33, chanced upon Imelda Salangsang, 47, a known drug pusher, while handling a plastic sachet of shabu to her cousin, Louie Salangsang, 30, and to her client Michael Avena, 35, prompting operatives to pounce on them.
Police said the suspects tried to escape but was cornered after a brief chase. Recovered from them were nine plastic sachets containing undetermined quantity of shabu.
In Bgy. Sangandaan, Caloocan police SDEU arrested Rowen Ricafort, 37, Jamie Cabel, 39, Christine Joy Malasan, 30, and Geronimo Enriquez, 40, when they handed a pack of shabu to a police poseur-buyer during a buy-bust operation at 163 P. Gomez St., Torres Bugallon, Bgy. 5 at 11:55 p.m.
Chief Insp. Deimos said the suspects yielded a plastic sachets of shabu each while a buy-bust money amounting to P300 was recovered from Ricafort.
At 8:30 p.m., while elements of Police Community Precinct (PCP)7 composed of PO1s Oliver Caldona, Alvin Licaros, Darwin lndiongco and Harold Medina, were conducting foot patrol along Riverside, Libis, Baesa, Bgy. 160, they chanced upon Garry Isanan, 41, walking with bladed weapon protruding on his waistline.
When policemen tried to accost the suspect, he ran towards an unnumbered house where four drug personalities, identified as Carolito Santos, 42, Amy Limpin, 39, Jason Factoranan, 32 and Raymond Deocareza, 23, were having a pot session.
Police recovered from the arrested suspect five plastic sachets of shabu, a bladed weapon and several drug paraphernalia.
