SAN Juan Police nabbed a former surrenderer and three others including drivers who were caught in the act of sniffing shabu in a parking lot following an anti-drug operation in the city early morning Friday night.
In a report submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) director Chief Supt. Christopher Tambungan, San Juan Police chief, Senior Supt. Ariel R.Fulo, identified the drug pusher as Ludivino Intes, alias Tata, 45, and resident of F. Manalo St., Bgy Kabayanan, San Juan City.
Fulo said prior to the operation operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) headed by Senior Insp. Edwin Malabanan transacted with Intes based on the information that he was involved in illegal drug peddling activities in the city.
A policeman was able to buy sachet of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from the suspect along F Manalo St., Bgy Kabayanan at around 12; 55 which resulted to his arrest.
While arresting the suspect, Malabanan noticed a jeepney parked in a dimly lit portion near the area. Suspicious, they approached the said jeep and saw three persons in the act of sniffing shabu.
