FOUR young students involved in selling high grade cocaine were arrested, along with a 24-year old woman in a buy-bust operation Monday evening in Caloocan City.
Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) head Chief Insp. Rengie Deimos identified the arrested students as Marvin Earl Gonzales, 19, of Bgy. Bungad, Jerlaur Serafica, 19, of Bgy. Pasong Tamo, both in Quezon City, Michael Lu, 19, of Tondo, Manila and Lavinia Dela Cruz, 24, of BMBA Compound, Bgy. 118, Caloocan city.
Case investigator PO1 Aian-Jay Gamayon said the suspects were arrested at around 10 p.m. along B. Serrano St. in Bgy. 108 after an undercover cop was able to transact high grade cocaine from Gonzales and Serafica while Lu and Dela Cruz, served as lookouts.
When the police poseur-buyer handed the P20,000 marked boodle money to the duo in exchange for a pack of high grade cocaine, Chief Insp. Deimos who led the operation immediately pounced on them.
When frisked, police recovered from Gonzales the marked boodle money while Lu and Dela Cruz yielded two plastic sachets containing high grade dried marijuana leaves.
Police also seized inside the suspect’s vehicle, a Toyota Vios with conduction sticker VV-4421, two plastic sachets allegedly containing high quality dried cannabis leaves.
