SOME 500 personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) who were found positive for COVID-19 have recovered.

“We give thanks and glory to God for His unfailing grace to our frontline personnel who have recovered and returned to service, as well as to our fellow Filipinos who include our health and safety in their daily prayers. Through your support, we remain strong and persevering. Rest assured that we will continue to aid the national government in its fight against COVID-19. We will heal as one!” said PCG Commandant Admiral George Ursabia, Jr.

Ursabia also expressed gratitude to those who prayed for the swift recovery of PCG frontliners who got infected with COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 146 cases of asymptomatic personnel of the PCG  are being monitored and taken cared of continuously.

The PCG frontliners, he assured, will continue providing service to returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
