7 drug pushers nabbed in Manila

EVEN with the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) being tightly enforced, drug syndicates continue operating as seven drug pushers –three of whom are siblings--- were nabbed in separate drug operations in Malate and Sta. Cruz areas in Manila, where some P300,000 worth of shabu were seized the other day.

Malate Police Station 9 policemen was nabbed at 5:30 p.m. at Mataas na Lupa, Bgy. 736, Zone 80 siblings James Menor, 39; Jay Menor, 42 and Manuel Menor Jr., 45.  Also arrested was Edmar Anete, 52.

Confiscated from them were nine plastic sachets containing shabu worth P74,800 and the two 100 peso bills in marked money.

At 6:45 p.m., a buy-bust operation conducted by Sta. Cruz Police Station 3 operatives at the corner of Rizal Avenue and Bambang Street  in Sta. Cruz resulted in the arrest of Jay-R Agas, 38; Danilo Zafra, 38 and Arsenio Malaca Jr., 39.

Seven plastic sachets containing shabu worth P217,600 were confiscated along with the two P500 bills marked money used in the buy-bust operation.
