7 Indians collared in Pasay buy-bust

POLICE arrested seven Indian nationals in a buy-bust operation inside a condominium unit Thursday afternoon in Pasay City.

Pasay police chief P/Col. Erickson Dilag identified the arrested suspects as Sumanth Raju alyas “Kumal”,  22, of Unit 513A, 5th floor,  Central Park, Tower 1, D-Jorge St., Bgy. 132 Zone 13, Diju Moses Rengaswamy, 25, of Unit 1810 D, Central Park, Tower 1; Mohammad Yusuf, 22, of Unit 1809 B Central Park Tower 1, one alias “Pavan”, 23 , of Unit 1809 B,  Central Park, Tower 1, Nagendran Gugan, alias “Gugan”, 23, of Unit 413 Central Park Tower 2 and Sai Santha Kumar, Dhamodharan, 22, of Unit 413, Central Park Tower 2.

Police said the arrested suspects were all students.

Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEI) head P/Capt. Deni Mari Pedrozo said the operation conducted at around 3:40 p.m. at Room 1809, 18th floor, Central Park Condominium located at 168 D. Jorge St. Brgy. 132 stemmed from the information provided by their informant regarding the illegal activities of the suspects.

Police recovered from the arrested suspects 32 plastic sachets containing high grade dried marijuana leaves, six zip-lock plastic of marijuana seeds, a bundle of marijuana stalk, sando bag of imported marijuana seeds, several pieces of drug paraphernalia and the P200 buy-bust money.

Capt. Pedrozo said the seized dried marijuana leaves and seeds weighing more of less 10.67 grams worth P128,040were turned over to Southern Police District (SPD) Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
