Amid virus scare, NBI to issue clearances

THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will not suspend the issuance of NBI clearance amid the COVID19 scare.

In a text message, NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric Distor said while they were aware about the danger of COVID19, they will still continue to serve the public.

“Hindi natin pwede itigil but we will take actions to make our clearance Center safer,” said Distor.

Distor assured that they will not compromise public service even though confirmed cases of COVID 19 continue to rise.

“We will take measures to make safer our clearances by distributing sanitizers and alcohol and mask on site,” he added.

Hundreds of people come to NBI headquarters and other satellite offices daily to apply for a clearance for different purposes, especially for job application.
