Be humble, Isko urges city workers

February 29, 2020

“LET us always be humble...panatiliin natin ang pagkakaroon ng mababang-loob sa paglilingkod sa taumbayan.”

This was the appeal of  Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to all officials and employees of Manila City Hall as he stressed that they are public servants who are involved in the “people helping people business.”

Moreno said as government officials or employees, they should not use their position to oppress or abuse and instead use it to help others.

Meanwhile, Moreno said he and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna are finding ways to uplift the standards of living of City Hall employees to inspire them to work better.

The goal, he said, is less stress in the workplace.

“I also hope to hear the challenges in the various offices in City Hall,” Moreno added.
