Belgian supplier of drugs, 3 others held

AUTHORITIES arrested four suspected suppliers of party drugs, including a Belgian national and a young woman, in separate buy-bust operations Friday evening in the cities of Taguig, Manila and Pasay.

Southern Police District Director (SPD) P/Brig. Gen. Nolasco Bathan identified the arrested suspects as Angelia Rillona, 19 of San Andres, Manila, Marc Erick Barcelona, 25, of Washington St. Parañaque City, Jonas Callejas, 24, of Donada St., Pasay and De Wolf David, 31, Belgian national and resident of Rosales St., Bgy. Sta Ana, Taguig City.

Gen. Bathan said that earlier at around 3 p.m., Friday, elements of Taguig Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted buy-bust operation at the Starbucks Coffee Shop, SM Aura, Bgy. Fort Bonifacio, Taguig that resulted in the arrest of Rillona.

P/Capt. Ariel Ilagan who led the operation said that during interrogation, Rillona pointed to Barcelona as his source of party drugs which prompted operatives to conduct a follow-up operation in front of Green Residence in Taft Avenue, Manila resulting in the arrest of Barcelona who in turn disclosed Callejas as his supplier.

Policemen were able to arrest Callejas at around 5:45 p.m. in front of Net World Casino located at the corner of Roxas Boulevard service road and Buendia.
