Computer game addict stabbed

AN alleged computer game addict stabbed and seriously wounded his neighbor who allegedly failed to explain the mechanics of the game being played by the victim yesterday morning in Malabon City.

Gerald Agana, 21, of 872 Gulayan, Bgy. Catmon was rushed to Tondo Medical Center for treatment of stab wounds in the face and neck while the suspect, identified as John Paul Lopez alias “Popong” immediately escaped.

Investigation conducted by PO3 Roldan Angeles and PO2 Mardelio Osting showed that at around 10 a.m., the suspect went inside a computer shop located at 685 Int. Gulayan, Bgy. Catmon and sat beside the victim who was playing computer game with his friend El John Vasquez, 25.

The suspect allegedly talked to the victim and asked how the game is played. The latter told him to watch the game to learn.

Minutes later, the victim for no apparent reason, pulled out a knife tucked in his waist and stabbed the victim in the neck and face before he fled towards an unknown direction.
