A suspected gunrunner who yielded firearms, ammunition and shabu was arrested by Quezon City Police District (QCPD) during the implementation of a search warrant in Novaliches yesterday.
QCPD director, Police Chief Superintendent Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. identified the gunrunning suspect as Zandric Milan alias Zandrix, 40, of Bgy. Capri, Novaliches.
PS 4 commander PSupt. Rossel Cejas said that they received information that the suspect was involved in illegal activities such as gunrunning and illegal drugs which prompted them to apply for a search warrant.
Cejas said the search warrant issued by Judge Ferdinand Baylon, RTC Branch 77, Quezon City was served at about 3 p.m., Thursday, at Milan’s house at Blk. 28, Lot 15, No. 22 Mangga St., Area 4, Bgy. Capri, Novaliches and was witnessed by bgy. officials and media personnel.
Policemen seized three caliber .38 revolvers, 12 live ammunition for caliber .38, two sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia inside the suspect’s house.
