Female dealer yields P6.8M shabu in Taguig

A SUSPECTED  top female drug personality in Metro Manila was arrested by combined agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Manila Police District after she sold a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million to an undercover officer in Malate, Manila on Tuesday afternoon, officials announced yesterday.

Suspect Maymay Medi Sing, a resident of Building 2 Condominium in Maharlika Village, Taguig City yielded the drugs and the marked money paid to her by a poseur during the entrapment operation along CCP Bay Terminal in Malate district at 3 p.m. Tuesday, said PDEA chair, Director General Aaron N. Aquino.

Aquino said that members of the PDEA National Capital Region and the MPD Station 5 were involved in the sting which targeted the suspect who has been monitored to be a top drug distributor in the metropolis.

The suspect is now being held at the PDEA detention facility in Quezon City facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the official said.
