Fugitive arrested

February 27, 2019

AN American fugitive wanted by authorities in the US state of Minnesota for alleged distribution of child pornography was arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

The American, identified as Gary Jaime Dokulil, 40,  is now detained at the Bicutan in Taguig City following his arrest last Friday at his residence in Clark Field, Angeles City, Pampanga by operatives from the Bureau’s Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) under Bobby Raquepo.

In his report to Commissioner Jaime Morente, Raquepo said that the US Embassy sought the BI’s help in locating Dokulil after a US district court in Minnesota issued a warrant for his arrest last January 17.

Dokulil, it was learned, will also be deported as an undocumented alien as his office received official communication that Dokulil’s passport has already been cancelled by the US government.

Raquepo reported that Dokulil fled to the Philippines last January 11, or just six days before the Minnesota court ordered his arrest.
