Hunted rapist jailed in Malabon

A 24-YEAR-OLD  man wanted for a rape case with no bail recommended was arrested by combined agents of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the National Capital Region Police Office in Malabon City on Tuesday afternoon, the Journal Group learned.

Kim Aizen Peña, a liaison officer from Kabuyao Street in Barangay Bilog, Valenzuela City  was arrested in front of the Puregold Dunkin Donut branch in Letre, Malabon City past 1 p.m. Tuesday, said CIDG-NCR chief, Colonel Arnold Thomas C. Ibay.

The official said the suspect was placed under arrest by members of the Northern Metro Manila District Field Unit of the CIDG-NCR led by Lieutenant Col. Dennis Rodriguez and the NCRPO Regional Intelligence Division led by Captain Narrolf Tan on the strength of a warrant of arrest for rape with no bail recommended by Judge Nancy Rivas-Palmones of the Valenzuela City Regional Trial Court Branch 172 last July 9.

Ibay said the suspect is now being held at the Northern MMDFU lock-up facility pending his presentation to court.
