A 43-year-old man was killed by a mother and her three children who shot him dead in Tondo, Manila early yesterday morning.
Robert Delos Reyes, of No. 1610 Francisco Varona St., Tondo, Manila was declared dead-on-arrival at the hospital where he was rushed.
Arrested during a follow-up operation by operatives under P/Lt. Colonel Reynaldo Magdaluyo, chief of the Manila Police District-Station 1, was suspect Margie Usison, while her sons, Renjie, Ronald and an alias‘Tokwa,’ all of legal age and residing at No. 1603 Interior 4, F. Varona St., Tondo, are still being hunted down.
P/Staff Sergeant Roderick Magpale of the MPD–Homicide Section said the shooting took place at 5:15 a.m. in front of the victim’s house. The victim was reportedly standing alone when the suspects arrived and shots rang out.
Police said one of the suspects fired at the victim repeatedly and hit him in different parts of the body.
When the victim fell bloodied, the suspects hastily left the scene while concerned residents rushed the victim to the nearest hospital.
The victim’s brother Joel told the police that their family had long been at odds with the suspects who accused him and the victim of having stabbed and nearly killed one of the suspects’ family member.
Joel said he and the victim were charged with frustrated murder, were imprisoned for a year and are now out merely on probation.
When he got out of prison, Joel said he punched one of the suspects during an argument where he denied the charges that caused his imprisonment.#
