Manila’s most wanted captured in Davao City

ONE of Manila’s Top 10 most wanted persons was captured by the police in his hiding place in Davao City on Saturday afternoon, a Philippine National Police Intelligence Group (PNP-IG) report said yesterday.

Christopher Hilario, the subject of a warrant of arrest for murder issued by Judge Maria Paz-Reyes of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 54 was arrested in his hiding place in Barangay Sasa, Davao City at 5 p.m. Saturday, said PNP-IG director, Brigadier General Jesus D. Cambay Jr.

Cambay said no bail was recommended for the temporary liberty of the suspect who has been tagged as the 7th Most Wanted Person in the list of the Manila Police District.

According to Cambay, acting on information provided by the Regional Intelligence Unit-National Capital Region headed by Colonel Nestor C. Babagay Jr., operatives of the Regional Intelligence Unit 11 and the Davao City Police Office tracked down the suspect in his hiding place in Kilometer 12 Bgy. Sasa.

The suspect is now being held at the Sasa police lock-up facility pending his transfer to Manila as soon as the government allows the resumption of public transport, said Cambay.
