Mayor Oca brings services to residents

October 13, 2019

THE Caloocan City government continues to provide services to the people during weekend through the Mobile City Hall project of Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan.

Residents of Barangay 168 in North Caloocan Saturday availed of the services of the local government in processing of documents in Deparo Covered Court with an additional free legal consultation on their caravan-style mobile city hall.

Mayor Oca said aside from mobile city hall’s regular services, residents were also provided free haircut, manicure and pedicure, free medical and dental check ups, free medicines and eye glasses and anti-rabies vaccination for pets under their expanded outreach program.

The Mobile City Hall project, according to Mayor Oca, aims to bring government services closer to the people.

Earlier on Friday, Mayor Malapitan, in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) deployed again the “Passport on Wheels” aimed not only to decongest consular offices in Metro Manila but for the benefit of city residents who were processing their passport applications.

Applicants are required to submit their application forms and other original requirements at the City Civil Registrar at the New Caloocan City Hall through DFA-LGU Coordinator Luchi Flores starting tomorrow (Oct. 15) up to Oct. 25, 2019. Only 1,500 slots will be provided on a first come-first serve basis.
