MPD chief suffers chest pains while implementing hard lockdown in Sampaloc

THE new director of the Manila Police District (MPD),  PBGen. Rolando Miranda, was rushed to the Chinese General Hospital yesterday, when he suffered chest pains while conducting inspection relative to the 48-hour hard lockdown being enforced in Sampaloc.

It was learned that Miranda had to be brought to the hospital when he began feeling chest pains at around 11 a.m.

At around 12:30 p.m., Miranda’s condition had improved and he attributed what he felt to the extreme heat which may have caused his blood pressure to go up.

Miranda said he will just rest awhile and then continue personally supervising the systems in place relative to the ongoing lockdown in the Sampaloc area.
