FIVE suspected top street-level drug distributors in Metro Manila were arrested and 250 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.7 million confiscated in a buy-bust operation late noon Wednesday in Taguig City.
The suspects were identified as Emmanuel Regidor,47, of San Louise Phase 2-B, Barangay Bagong Nayon, Antipolo City; John Martin Nulla, 28, of No. 159 Dr. Sixto Avenue, Rosario, Pasig City; Brian Christian Santos, 29, a computer technician, of No. 144-C DR. Sixto Avenue; Nico Salasibar, 28, a motorcycle mechanic, of No. 2713 Rodriguez Compound in Rosario, Pasig City; and Rhoderick Reyes, 28, of No. 2676 Rodriguez Compound.
National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar said the suspects were arrested in a sting on C-6 Road in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
Eleazar said that members of the NCRPO Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, the Taguig City Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-NCR conducted the anti-narcotics operation triggered by complaints from concerned citizens regarding the illegal drug activities of the accused.
