AUTHORITIES seized more than P2 million worth of shabu from three of four suspected big-time drug pushers in a sting Friday evening in Makati City.
Joint operatives of Quezon City Police District, Kamuning Police Station 10, Makati Police Station and District Intelligence Division of Southern Police District (DID-SPD) were able to arrest Angel Maris Bueno, 31, Maria Aira Caamic, 40 and Norberto Ortiz, 43 after conspiring to sell a bulk of shabu worth P300,000 to a police poseur-buyer at around 11 p.m.at Prescillas Family Compound located at No. 139 Block 36, MH Del Pilar St., Bgy. Rizal, Makati City.
Police said the alleged owner of the house where the drug sting took place identified as Val Priscillas, 39, was able to elude arrest and is now the object of police manhunt.
The operation stemmed from intelligence and surveillance operation conducted by Quezon City Police District (QCPD), in cooperation with SPD-DID and Makati police following the earlier apprehension of a drug suspect by elements of Kamuning Police Station 10 who revealed to the police the source of his illegal drugs.
When an undercover cop from QCPD was able to deal P.3 million worth of shabu from the suspects, authorities wasted no time and immediately conducted a drug operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
Seized from the suspects were the marked money consisting of one piece genuine P1,000 bill and P299,000 boodle money, a paper bag containing 30 grams of shabu with standard drug price worth P2,040,000 and two mobile phones.
