Pasay rolling stores to serve as alternative food outlets

March 31, 2020

PASAY City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano launched yesterday ‘rolling stores’ to provide city residents alternative outlets from which they could buy food products and other essential items at affordable prices.

This project, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, aims to further help families affected by the enhanced community quarantine imposed due to COVID-19.

Mayor Emi visited one of the initial beneficiary-barangays, Bgy. 13 along F.B. Harrision Street, where she was joined by DA Assistant Secretary Kristine Evangelista.

During the launching, the rolling stores went to serve residents of Barangay 141 in Zone 15 (Cabrera Street near San Roque Parish), Barangay 154 in Zone 16 (M. Francisco cor. Edang Streets) and Barangay 13 in Zone 4 (along F.B. Harrison Street in front of Meralco).

The project will utilize jeepneys that can access small barangay roads.

The rolling stores will be available from 8 am to 5 pm.
