PCG saves 8 tourist police

EIGHT tourist police members, along with some civilians, were saved by the  Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) after their motorized banca suffered trouble in the waters of Cavite the other night.

A report from the PCG Station in Cavite said the banca was 5.62 nautical miles in the southern portion of Tanza, Cavite when the incident took place at 7:41 p.m.

The banca, named, ‘Neslyn,’ reportedly suffered engine trouble.  It was already half-filled with water before the PCG arrived and saved the following: PSSgs Harry Narial, 43; Andrei Abesamis, 37; Ma. Suzette Bayag-o, 31; Marry Jane Basilan, 38 and Naty Edas, 33; Patrolmen Nurina Asdi, 37; Laurence Palomino, 34 and Glen Ibasko, 32.  They are all assigned at the Cavite Tourist Police Station.
