A COMMUTER group has appealed to the business owners and establishments not to take advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic against the consuming public.
The appeal was made by Public Commuters and Motorists Alliance (PCMA) following continus reports that some business establishments in Metro Manila are selling face shields at P100 per piece.
The group also sought the intervention of Department of Trade (DTI) to immediately issue suggested retail price (SRP) for face shield.
The group also appealed to the local governments and DTI to apprehend, prosecute and jail all abusive business establishements selling face shield in higher prices.
In this development the PCMA is urging several groups with a big heart to “DONATE” face shield for ordinary commuters who have enough extra money to buy face shield.
