ANOTHER round of big-time price rollback on petroleum products will be implemented by local oil firms starting Tuesday.
Pilipinas Shell, Petron Corporation and Chevron Philippines in their separate advisories said they will implement a price rollback of P3.50 centavos per liter of their gasoline and kerosene products and P2.00 per liter of diesel effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Jhay Julian, communication officer of PTT Philippines also announced the same price adjustments of their gasoline and diesel products while Seaoil, Unioil and Total Philippines also followed suit which will take effects also at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Other independent oil companies that continued to serve motorists despite the enhanced community quarantine have yet to announce their respective price adjustment but they are expected to follow suit.
Energy sources said the four consecutive weeks of price rollback on petroleum products was due to the extremely shrinking demand of oil in the international market.
