PH 4 most wanted persons behind bars

FOUR wanted persons in the country have been accounted for by agents of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s National Capital Region Office, the head of the unit told the Journal Group yesterday.

Colonel Arnold Thomas C. Ibay said one of the suspects identified as Rowena Almerino was arrested inside a laundry shop in Malate, Manila for violation of the Omnibus Election Code at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The 2nd was identified as Arvin Sarmiento, the subject of a warrant of arrest for theft .

The 3rd was identified as Joel Mariano. He was arrested in Purok 3 Masville, BF Homes, Parañaque City past 4 p.m. Friday.

Ibay said his men also served a warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued against Jimmy Flores who is already being held at the Antipolo City police lock-up facility on Friday afternoon.

He said the warrant for violation of RA 9165 was issued against the suspect by Judge Wilfredo Maynigo of the Quezon City RTC Branch 91 on September 26, 2019 with a P200,000 recommended bail.
