ONE personnel from the Philippine National Police Chaplain Service in Camp Crame tested positive of coronavirus disease.
This was confirmed by PNP General Hospital Chief Police Major Duds Santos.
Santos said the patient is now improving and is currently being treated at St. Luke’s Hospital in Taguig City after being in a critical state the past few days.
According to Santos, the infected personnel has no travel history but was visited by two foreigners who came from Europe.
Meanwhile, seven more members of the PNP Chaplain Service who were in close contacts with the said personnel underwent a quarantine for 14 days and finished the self-quarantine just this March 22.
The seven others remain Patients Under Monitoring for being asymptomatic.
Earlier, a member of Manila Police District (MPD) also tested positive of COVID-19.
