COMBINED operatives of the Philippine National Police Intelligence Group and the Northern Police District on Tuesday captured two brothers tagged as among the most wanted persons in Camanava district, officials said.
PNP-IG director, Brigadier General Jesus D. Cambay Jr., identified the two as Jimrex C. Pareja and his brother Jayvee, respectively the no. 8 and no. 9 in the wanted lsit of the Northern Police District.
Cambay said the two were arrested in a PNP-IG-led manhunt operation in Walking Street in Barangay Balibago in Angeles City in Pampanga.
The two are the subject of a warrant of arrest for direct assault with frustrated murder issued by Judge Orven Ontalan of the Valenzuela City Regional Trial Court Branch 285 with a recommended bail of P200,000 each.
Members of the Northern District Intelligence Team led by Lieutenant John Marasigan and Staff Sergeant Aquilino Pepito led the operation which resulted in the arrest of the two brothers, said Regional Intelligence Unit-NCR chief, Colonel Nestor C. Babagay Jr.
The suspects were turned over to the custody of the NPD District Special Operations Unit under Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Genero Ylagan following their arrest.
