PNP probes ‘oral sex’ scandal at PNPA

October 23, 2018

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) is investigating another controversy inside the PNP Academy (PNPA) wherein an upperclass man allegedly ordered two underclass men to perform oral sex with each other.

PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde directed the PNP-Directorate for Intelligence and Detective Management to conduct an investigation on the matter.

Albayalde assured that once they confirm the incident was true, those responsible will be dismissed.

Aside from the suspect who ordered the “oral sex”, there are also two other third class cadets who allegedly watched the incident and did nothing to stop it.

It was learned that the incident occurred last October 6, 2018.

Albayalde stressed that PNPA graduates should display credibility and dignity since they will be leaders and will be next in line in handling the PNP.

Because of the incident, Albayalde said there is really a need to change the system in the PNPA.

As of press time, the PNPA is under the management of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC).

For his part, PNPA director Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol said three upperclass men of the academy were already facing administrative and criminal cases for allegedly ordering two underclass men to perform oral sex on them.

He said the academy received complaints from the two victims who claimed that the incident took place on October 6.

Adnol said the PNPA will be filing administrative case against the respondent cadets.

He added that the victims will also file separate criminal case against the respondent cadets.

Albayalde stressed that once proven guilty, the three cadets would be dismissed.
