Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 7 arrested 13 drug suspects, including a female minor and eight “Bahala na Gang” (BNG) members, in two separate buy-bust operations inside an apartelle in Cubao.
QCPD director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said the arrested members of the “Bahala na Gang” were identified as Kim Jhon Bertulfo, 28, included on the drug watchlist of Bgy. Investigation showed that the buy-bust operation was conducted at about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24, 2018, inside an apartelle on Monte De Piedad St. near corner Lantana St., Bgy. Immaculate Conception, Cubao.
Around 7:35 p.m. at another room of the same building, another buy-bust operation was conducted by same operatives, resulting in the arrest of Victor Randy Brofas, 40, Maricris Into, 20, Norman Alexis Garcia, 40, all BNG members; Jose Noriel Catalan, 65, Reichel Alvis, 32, of PS 7 drug watchlist; Lowell Rafols, 19, all from Cubao; and George Cruz, 44, of Montalban, Rizal, where 16 sachets of shabu were seized along with an Armscor 200 Chrome cal. .38 revolver with six live ammunition, a cellphone, drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
