Teener nabbed for trade of hot guns, drugs

A 18- YEAR-OLD boy who started selling illegal drugs since he was 16 and also engaged in illegal selling of firearms was collared by Eastern Police District –District Special Operations Unit (EPD=DSOU) following an operation in Pasig City on Thursday.

Report submitted to EPD director Brig. Gen .Johnson Almazan by PMajor Darwin Guerrero, DSOU chief said suspect, also a high value target, Reniel Delara was nabbed his residence at Block 5, 125 Villa Monique, Bgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City at around 2 pm.

Guerrero said the operation was conducted based on the information that he was engaged in selling of an unlicensed firearm.

The suspect had been in the EPD’s HVT for several months prior to his arrest, Guerrero added.

​Police conducted a buy-bust after the suspect agreed to meet following their transaction through text that they wanted to buy firearm.

When Delara handed the .38 caliber revolver to a cop buyer he was immediately arrested by other cops in the area.

​Police recovered during the operation at least 9 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 55 grams with an estimated street value of P374,000 and, bladed weapon and P1,000 buy-bust money used in the operation.

​According to Guerrero , the recovered illegal drugs from the suspect was about to be disposed to his customers  but police was able to seize it from him
