Traffic enforcer killed by RIT in Parañaque

TWO armed men on board a single motorcycle shot dead a local traffic enforcer who was manning the flow of traffic along C5 Road yesterday morning in Paranaque City.

Armando Sabado, 47, presently assigned at the Paranaque City Traffic and Management Office and resident of Pag-ibig sa Kapuwa Malacañang Dulo, Bgy. Don Bosco succumbed to bullet wounds in the body while being rushed to Ospital ng Parañaque.

Report reaching the office of Paranaque police chief P/Col. Robin King Sarmiento showed that while Sabado was manning the heavy flow of traffic along C5 Road Extension, Bgy. La Huerta in front of Rotary Homes at around 6:55 a.m. due to the ongoing fun run of students of Paranaque City College, the riding-in tandem criminals appeared and shot the victim twice hitting him in the chest.

After the attack, the suspects immediately sped away towards an unknown direction while concerned residents in the area rushed the victim to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival.

Col. Sarmiento said they are still conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the motive behind the killing while a manhunt operation against the suspects is still ongoing.
