A 55-YEAR-OLD lead man of a construction company was killed after being run over by a train while crossing the railroad tracks near the Beata Philippine National Railways (PNR) station in Pandacan, Manila yesterday morning.
Remy Orlino, employee of the D.M. CONSUNJI, INC. (DMCI) and a resident of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, was said to be under the infleunce of liquor when the accident happened at around 6 a.m.
An initial probe by SPO3 Arvin Calub and PO1 Jessiah Domingo of the Manila Police District-Station 10, said that the accident happened at the northbound lane of the PNR railroad tracks on Tomas Caludio Street near the Beata PNR Station.
Rodolfo Bernales, steel man of DMCI, identified the victim before the probers while 76-year-old Teodo Domitibo, of 891 Tomas Claudio St., Pandacan, Manila told them that the victim got hit by a train.
