EIGHT rough hands quickly undressed the 34-year-old waitress and feasted their eyes on her body. Despite the cramped space, the four men next attempted to gang-rape the terrified, naked victim.
Policemen, however, saved the woman from being raped by the four men who robbed and abducted her while she was waiting for a ride on her way home in Quezon City on Thursday morning.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Joselito T Esquivel Jr. said two of the four suspects were killed in an encounter with members of the Batasan Police Station (PS 6).
Esquivel said the slain suspects still have to be identified. He described one of them as between 30 and 35 years old, of medium build, 5’3" in height, and clad in black shirt, red jacket, blue shorts, black cap and black mask. The other killed suspect was described to be between 40 and 45 years old.
A report gathered from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the QCPD showed the PS 6 received a call from 911 at about 3 a.m. yesterday about a white taxi with four men on board parked along Leyte St. corner Payatas Road in Bgy. Payatas.
Police responded immediately to verify the report.
The suspects sensed the presence of police and shot at them, prompting the lawmen to retaliate.
Two of the suspects were killed on the spot while their cohorts managed to escape.
The authorities then found the naked victim inside the taxi.
The victim was abducted by the suspects while waiting for a ride home along Luzviminda St. in Bgy. Batasan Hills.
The white taxi with the suspects on board stopped in front of her and pulled her into the vehicle.
The suspects then took her belongings.
Not even contented, the suspects undressed her and was about to rape her when policemen arrived.
Recovered from the crime scene were a caliber. 38 revolver with six fired cartridge cases, a caliber. 38 revolver with five fired cartridge cases and one live ammunition, three sachets of shabu and the taxi with plate No. VFK686.
