Batocabe replacement takes oath

A NEW member of the House of Representatives yesterday took his oath replacing slain AKO Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe.

The party-list’s fourth nominee Ronald Ang replaced Batocabe in the House of Representatives.

Batocabe, AKO Bicol first nominee, was shot dead on December 22, 2018 in Daraga, Albay after attending a gift giving activity.

Batocabe is supposed to challenge incumbent Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo in the mayoral race in the mid-term elections.

Baldo is the prime suspect in the killing based on the testimonies of six arrested gunmen.

The second nominee of AKO Bicol party-list is Rep. Alfredo Garbin while the third is Rep. Christopher Co.
