MAJOR oil firm Petron Corporation and Solane of Isla Liquefied Petroleum Gas Corporation yesterday implemented a big-time rollback in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.
In separate advisories, Petron Corporation announced their price cut of P6.25 per kilo of cooking gas or P68.75 per 11-kilogram cylinder effective 12:01 a.m. yesterday.
Solane, on the other hand, cut the price of its LPG at P6.09 or P66.99 per 11 kilograms cylinder inclusive of VAT effective around 6 a.m. yesterday.
Petron and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines slashed their prices of auto LPG by P3.45 per liter effective 12:01 a.m. yesterday.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Petroleum also implemented a big-time rollback of its gasoline price by P1.75 per liter and diesel by P1.05 per liter effective yesterday.
Other oil firms are expected to follow due to lower oil prices on the world market.
