MALACANANG yesterday said that Peter Joemel Advincula, or “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video narrator Bikoy, should substantiate his new claims and present evidence.
At a press conference, presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said he is not saying that Advincula is credible and he will wait for him to validate his claim.
“Let him prove his allegations. Prove to us that there were meetings, prove to us that there were those communications. He better substantiate,” Panelo told reporters.
Advincula, who surrendered to the police on Wednesday, claimed that the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos were all lies designed by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, with the help of the Liberal Party, to discredit incoming senator Bong Go and put the Duterte administration in a bad light.
Trillanes and the Liberal Party have since denied Advincula’s allegations.
For his part, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar is amused with the latest revelation of Peter Joemel Advincula, the man who claims to be “Bikoy,” that the Liberal Party (LP) and Sen. Trillanes were behind the narcolist videos.
The series of narcolist videos tagged President Rodrigo Duterte’s immediate family as being involved in the illegal drug trade.
“The turn of events have made this drama more interesting. Now its Bikoy’s words versus Sen. Trillanes and the Liberal Party’s. I’m going to the grocery to buy popcorn,” Andanar said in a text message.
