DURING an ambush interview at a visit to fire victims in Caloocan, Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go challenged former senator Antonio Trillanes IV to man up and face the sedition charges filed against him after he was indicted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Monday.
Go told reporters that Trillanes, who has allegedly maligned the senator’s reputation and that of President Rodrigo Duterte and his family during the previous elections even when the ex-legislator failed to show proof of his accusations, should answer for his actions.
Kung ano ‘yung kaso na na-file sa iyo, panagutan mo, sagutin mo sa korte,” Go said when asked for his comments on the sedition raps against Trillanes.
Go also said that those responsible for the black propaganda thrown against him during the campaign period last year should be held accountable.
“Alam naman natin sino ‘yung nasa likod noon eh. Dalawang beses n’ya po akong pinaghubad, nagsalita na ang taumbayan,” he said.
The DOJ has indicted Trillanes and ten others for conspiracy to commit sedition over the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video blogs that dragged the First Family and Go into the illegal drug trade in the country.
Kahit anong gawin mong pagpapa-puti... wala nang maniniwala sa’yo,” he said.
Go, on the other hand, said that he respects the decision of the DOJ to clear Vice President Leni Robredo and several bishops of the sedition charges.
At kung sino may kinalaman, managot,” he said.
