SIXTEEN more people have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total to 140, the Department of Health (DOH) said Friday.

The death toll, on the other hand, ballooned to 221 with 18 new deaths recorded.

On April 10, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country was at 4,195 after the department registered 119 new cases.

"As of 4 p.m. today, April 10, 2020, the Department of Health reports 119 new cases of Covid-19. Total number of cases in the country is now at 4,195," the DOH said in a bulletin.

Earlier, the DOH said its Covid-19 tracker would be inaccessible until April 11 and would be re-launched on April 12 with updated graphs and charts.
