Dengvaxia-related deaths ticking time bombs

THE plot thickens in the quest for justice in Dengvaxia-related deaths as two more vaccinees died at the start of the New Year 2019  were bared by forensic experts of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

Justine B. Briones of Magalang, Pampanga died on New Year’s Day , January 1, while  Rancel Mae G. Ganancial of Paranaque City died last Jan. 3.

The new deaths brought the total number  of Dengvaxia-related deaths to 110. The cases underwent forensic examination by the PAO forensic team.

Briones was vaccinated on  June 16, 2016. December 16, 2016. And  November 8, 2017. He got sick last Dec 26, 2018 and complained of generalized weakness.

Ganancial was vaccinated with three dosages starting last  April 19, 2016. November 23, 2016. And June 27, 2017. She got sick on October, 2017

The ailing patients’ chief complaints were fever, dizziness, and vomiting.

Others in the list which underwent forensic examination were  Lance Allen O. Mitra, Alaminos, Laguna;  Krizha Agonia,Lucena City, Quezon;. Mary Grace E. Pena,Binangonan, Rizal; Alexa P. Regalado; Pagsanjan, Laguna;. Vea O. Mirandilla,Catanauan Quezon; and  Jessica V. De Chavez Lucena City for total of 110..

Forensic experts urged stakeholders for more vigilance and transparency to minimize further deaths from the controversial vaccine.

So far, 30 criminal suits have been filed in connection with the fiasco.

Malacanang the cases especially the first batch of case will be resolved soon.
