SENATOR Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is doing well but is still taking his medicine and needs to rest.
This was revealed by the senator's wife, Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado.
“Salamat po sa lahat ng inyong dasal. Bumubuti ang lagay ang aking asawa. He still has pneumonia. He occasionally coughs when he talks and still needs to rest," Mayor Lani said on her social media post.
“Please continue to pray for him. He still has to continue taking his medicines and antibiotics. Thanks to all of his doctors and nurses. Tuloy pa rin ang Laban natin We love you Papa,” Mayor Lani added.
The senator is currently in isolation in an undisclosed hospital in Metro Manila after he developed pneumonia on Tuesday.
Early this month, Revilla admitted that he had contracted COVID-19.
He is the fourth senator to contract the coronavirus, after Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, and Senator Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara.
